i’m about to let you all in on one of my favorite happy hours + one of the best deals imaginable! fleming’s, which also happens to be my preferred steakhouse, offers an amazing happy hour at the bar, called the 5 for 6 until 7. that means, they offer 5 cocktails, 5 wines by the glass + 5 appetizers all for only $6 each. if you’ve ever dined from fleming’s dinner menu, you know this is an fabulous deal!
the best part? everything is delicious – the food portions are surprisingly substantial, as are the cocktails. the seared ahi tuna (poorly lit camera-phone picture above) is my favorite, with the carpaccio coming in a close second. i typically get the vintage vodka martini, slightly dirty, which is always great. i’m think we’ve tried everything on the menu at this point, + have never been less than 100% pleased. if you’re looking for a new place for a post-work drink, absolutely give fleming’s 5 for 6 until 7 a try!

How have I never heard of this before? We love Flemings for fancy dinners, but don’t go all that much because it gets expensive. This would be a good way to go more often without spending a lot. THANK YOU!
you’re welcome! i have to give honey credit for this one – he knows how much i love fleming’s, so he signed us up for their email list + stumbled across this happy hour a few months ago. i checked + they do offer the 5 for 6 until 7 at the fleming’s in mclean – you’ll have to try it out + let me know what you think about it!
