since i adore my readers so much, i have a valentine’s day gift for you – a giveaway! i’m so excited because today’s giveaway is one of my favorite gadgets – a SodaStream soda maker! i love sparkling water + fizzy drinks, so when i learned that i could make them quickly + easily at home, i was thrilled.
how does it work? you fill the reusable bpa-free bottle with tap water (i use filtered water from my fridge), attach it to the SodaStream machine, give the button on the top of the machine a couple of pushes + BAM! sparkling water. you can leave it add is, or use any of the 30+ flavors to make flavored sparkling water, diet soda, or regular soda. a big plus for me? they have a line of ‘Sparkling Naturals’ flavors that contain no artificial flavors/colors/sweeteners or preservatives. yippee!
i could go on + on about how much i love my SodaStream machine (seriously, i use it all of the time), but let’s get to the good stuff – the giveaway!

Awesome! I’ve been looking to buy one of these! I drink a lot of sparkling water and it would be great to not have to buy them and make so much waste. I’d also make some juice concoctions for cocktails. Yum!

I lOVE this! We used to have some just like this when I was growing up in Australia. We did not have the ability to get or keep soda as our location was so desolate and they would explode before reaching us. We have a drink called Irn-Bru that is simply delicious! You can still buy the syrup and that would be my absolute first attempt in decades. To have tonic and soda water handy…so awesome! Citrus or pomegranate water or cocktail mixers. Wow…so excited!
Hands down the first I’d make would be ginger soda!
My sister has one of these & keeps telling me to get one. I absolutely love every flavor sparkling water & would pretty much add flavored water to any other drink I may have.

I would love to make a variety of fruity or even herbal sodas. We currently have pomegranate, cherry, and Vimto syrups that would be wonderful with this! They all make yummy mixers, and I’d love to be able to use them with cola as well without so many additives as the soda corps use.
And I have liked Fearless Homemaker on facebook… if there was a love button, I’d use that!

I would love to be able to make cherry lime drinks whenever I wanted! I heard there were energy drink syrups, too, which would be awesome since the guy depends on them to counteract the drowsiness effects of all his meds.

Lychee , Passion Fruit, Blood Orange, or maybe some good old POG (Pineapple, Orange, Guava). The possibilities are endless and so much fun!

Never tried one of these but I bet you could make a killer ginger beer with or maybe root beer. The ginger beer would work wonders in a Cumberland Sidecar with a little elderflower liqueur and bourbon!
