I have some wonderful news to share: my husband + I are adding a new member to our family – a baby! our sweet baby girl is expected to arrive in early June – just a little over 3 months from now!
the pregnancy is absolutely flying by! it’s all becoming so real – baby is kicking up a storm (which is the coolest feeling ever), we’re designing the nursery, making a list of potential baby names, + getting ready to start childbirth classes. so exciting to think that our little lady will be here so soon!
i promise that this won’t turn into a pregnancy blog, but if you’re interested in seeing the nursery (or anything else baby-related), let me know + i’ll dedicate a few extra posts to things of that nature. and, if you have suggestions/advice/must-haves for a first-time mom, i’m all ears! … and belly. =)

Wonderful pictures! And yes, I will try to keep my unsolicited advice to a minimum. But go ahead and get the Baby Bargains book for some great tips (about what you need and don’t need). It was worth it to me just for the advice on what mattress to buy (which I love!).

Hahaha, YES! It has been so hard to read all your pregnancy updates and not make a peep. but it’s actually been nice because, since you’re a couple months ahead of me, i knew what to expect from reading your weekly update posts. =)
This is wonderful news!! The best advice I can give you right now (as I’m attempting to not burn dinner, lol) is to check with your local pharmacy about a product called Calmoseptine. It’s non-prescription, but they keep it behind the counter. It is **the best** diaper rash medicine EVER. It’s super, extremely thick (so it stays on and protects their sore little rear ends between diaper changes!!) and will clear up the absolute worst case of diaper rash over night. I’m not kidding. It’s the best I’ve found. I used it on all three of my boys.
Stay away from Balmex, A&D, etc. They just immediately soak into the diaper, and the next time your baby pees or poops, it gets right back on their sore skin. 
And I’d love to see pregnancy and baby updates…I don’t care if you turn this into a baby blog!
